Amir qualified from the University of Glasgow in 2012 with Honours. During his undergraduate training, he was awarded the Unilever Research Prize for his Patient Management and Health Promotion project. He was also the co-founder and Vice President of the British Medical Dental Careers Fair which attracted over 1500 Medical and Dental students across the UK.

He successfully completed his Vocational Training in Kilmarnock, and has been working in General Dental Practice since.

He successfully gained the Membership of Joint Dental Faculties (MJDF) postgraduate qualification in 2014.

Due to a keen interest in Cosmetic and Minimally Invasive Dentistry, Amir undertook a Masters of Science (MSc) in Prosthodontics at the University of Central Lancashire. He successfully completed his MSc in 2018 and was awarded a distinction for his final research project and case presentation.

Amir has an interest in Orthodontics and has successfully trained to provide a number of Short Term Orthodontic treatments including Inman Aligner, Clearsmile, Fastbraces and Six Month Smile. He has also trained to restore Dental Implants and will be training to place Dental Implants in the future.

Out-with Dentistry, Amir likes to spend time with his family and has a keen interest in photography.
